This was a partly cloudy day and the horses all decided it was a good time to take an early afternoon nap. This big boy is known as 3-Socks. He is a big bay stallion who I have watched and gotten to know over the past few years. On this day I was honored that he let me sit and observe while he slept. It wasn’t long before an ornery bachelor came along and upset the peace and 3-Socks got up and ran him off. All in all though it was a nice 20 minute nap!
