I call this good looking boy “Buck”. He is a dark buckskin stallion that was gathered at another range and released up in the highlands to add some color to the range. When I met him he had one mare with a cute little grulla foal at her side. Unfortunately three days later the foal was gone. Probably dinner for a mountain loin, who is one of the horses only predators in that area.
